Golf courses ponds present special problems for algae control. This is due to the fertilizers and continuous irrigation that is required to maintain turf. The fertilizers end up in the ponds and this greatly accelerates algae growth. I will be happy to do a course pond survey and write specific recomendations for algae and weed control in each pond. The actual application can then be taken care of by the golf course maintenance staff. Knowing what each pond needs can save a great deal of frustration and money. I have found that the recomendations of chemical sales people are often long on promises and short on results.
